Gil Viau Wins Trip to Nashville and/or a NASCAR race at Bristol Motor Speedway -Pictured with Robin Bentley of Milne Travel

This year’s winner of a dream vacation to Nashville and/or Bristol Motor Speedway, raffled off in support of area hospice services, is Gil Viau of New Haven. Gil will be taking a break from running Gil’s Garage in New Haven and enjoying a fabulous vacation thanks to trip underwriter Milne Travel.

The winning ticket was drawn at the annual celebration sponsored by the Middlebury Inn. 140 guests were treated to numerous culinary delights, donated by area restaurants, businesses and farms, and beverages donated by local breweries and Farrell Distributing. The Addison Independent provided design services and advertising, and Vermont Gas was also a major sponsor.

The true benefactors of the Dream Vacation Raffle are Addison County hospice patients and families. The funds raised from the Dream Vacation Raffle will be used to sustain excellent end-of-life care for the residents of Addison County.

On behalf of the Hospice Volunteer Services and Addison County Home Health & Hospice, we would like to thank our community members for their continued support of hospice services in Addison County.

Please join us for this important community event, which will be facilitated by Dr. Diana Barnard.
