It is time for the Fourth Annual No Show Mothers’ Day Gala! This started out four years ago as a light-hearted and humorous way to acknowledge the fact that people these days are often overscheduled and the idea of attending yet another fundraiser during limited and precious free time can be daunting, yet people want to support the organizations they care about. We are so appreciative that supporters continue to help us care for all members of our community, regardless of their ability to pay.
This year we are using all proceeds from this fundraiser to continue and expand our Food for the Soul program, which provides restaurant and home-cooked meals for hospice patients and their caregivers. Our employees and volunteers pick up the meals from participating restaurants and deliver to patients once a week, and the opportunity to deliver delicious meals is always a highlight of our week.
Please make a donation to ACHHH to help us continue this program. If your donation is in honor of your mom, wife, grandma, daughter or other fabulous woman in your life, we will send her a gorgeous card announcing what a generous person you are. She will be proud of you and you will be helping a great cause.
